Set in the quiet Suffolk countryside, with a beautiful house and garden and the village church just a one-minute walk away, it had everything a relaxed, elegant day needs. From the moment we arrived, the setting felt personal and effortless, full of character and heart, and made for an ideal wedding for a couple wanting something refined but unfussy.
The bride and groom brought their vision to life with beautifully considered styling. Soft florals, fine tableware and warm, natural tones sat easily within the garden, so that nothing felt staged. The ceremony took place at the village church, and the walk there was one of our favourite parts of the day. With the church only a minute from the house, the couple and their guests simply stepped out and strolled over together, with no cars, no rush and no logistics, just a close, joyful procession through the village. It felt intimate, emotional and entirely personal, which is just how a wedding should feel. We captured every meaningful moment, from the quiet anticipation before the vows to the happy walk back as newlyweds, with guests following behind them. These honest, heartfelt moments are what we love most about being wedding photographers in Suffolk and Essex.
Back at the house, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the lawn while the garden filled with conversation and laughter. The couple took a quiet moment together before we whisked them away for their portraits around the grounds, using the garden, the soft light and the quieter corners of the property.
