I'm our main photographer, Jack. I'm a dad to Verity, husband to Robyn and a cat dad to four spoilt Siberians. I also have been lucky enough to have been photographing weddings for around 10 years and still absolutely love shooting them and capturing those true candid moments.
When I’m not out shooting weddings (or editing them) you will find me doing a number of things.
1. stroking my cats
2. taking pictures of said cats/Verity
3. obsessing over one of my many hobbies
What are my hobbies you say? Oh you may be sorry you asked...
Film Photography - 35mm Analogue or Medium Format Film Photography! This is a big part of my life and I own a variety of film cameras (some I would even use to shoot your wedding!). If you want to geek out about all thing cameras, analogue (including vinyl) then you've found your guy! I am more than happy to lose a few hours chatting about these things.
Hi, I’m Robyn. the other half of the creative duo behind Caley Photography. I’m a passionate photographer, a proud mum, and a full-time cat lover. Outside of weddings, I’ve always had a deep love for interior design and the beauty of well-thought-out spaces. I find so much joy in creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also reflect personality and purpose. That same eye for detail filters into my photography too.
So we work together to give you the best coverage of your wedding. We are both available throughout the planning and editing process and we think - two heads (and creatives) are better than one.
For the wedding itself, some weddings need two photographers, and some don't. We will talk you through this when you enquire but generally if its a huge wedding or you want lots of film photography then you're gonna get both of us!
When I'm not there in person on the day, I still support in the background - carefully going through every image, selecting and editing each one by hand. I focus on natural tones, beautiful light, and a timeless finish - no heavy filters, just keeping the honest feel of your wedding. Having two creatives means that you get double the attention to detail and double the review process before you receive your perfect images.
So you've found your way to our 'about' page and we hope we can help you get to know us within the couple of minutes you spend here! We don't want to 'wow' you with tales about how we fly all over the world or how creative we are because of our equipment. For us, your wedding is the most important day of your lives and you need someone to capture it that you like, you trust and, hopefully someone you find funny!
For me, the most important thing about your wedding is you get beautiful memories to take away. Of course I mean the photos but at the same time I am there to get to know you, help you with any difficult bits on the day and give you advice (I've been a part of many before!)
I will blend in, put you at ease, have a bit of a chat and give you that guidance to make sure you are super relaxed! Throughout the day I will always take dramatic, artistic shots combined with documentary reportage to ensure you have a bit of everything - without compromising on your masterpiece (and to make sure you get those much needed family photos!).
Unfortunately Verity isn't able to attend weddings but she serves as a lot of inspiration and definitely helps us test new lighting, equipment and techniques! You have her to thank for a lot!
We are both happy to guide you through the day and make sure we get those perfect moments. Robyn has been known to touch up a bride's lipstick or make sure the groom's hair is 'just so')
Being married to each other is also a happy bonus, in that if you need any support with any general wedding jitters, we're happy to help. Hopefully this means that you get the images you want but also get to spend the most time with your friends and family and not just us!
If you like what you see - get in touch with us below or have a look through our prices page (we try to be very transparent about what your day will look like and also detail our most popular package:
1 photographer, all day coverage, no time limits, £1850
Outside of weddings, I love street photography and you'll often find me strolling around with my Olympus 35 SP (beautiful camera) and a roll of black and white (or some crazy expired) film! A few of my recent faves below:
